About the Job

Under general supervision and reporting to Quality Operations Leadership, the Quality Technician (MRB)/In‑process worker is responsible for inspecting product and sub‑assemblies throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications. The role also supports the Material Review Board (MRB) process and may conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs).

SECOND SHIFT 4-10'S

• Visually and dimensionally inspect product and sub‑assemblies using measuring instruments and advanced testing equipment.
• Read, interpret, and utilize Quality policies, procedure, and technical documents.
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports.
• Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks.
• Verify all work order documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform in‑process and final inspections for assembly processes as required.
• Review FAIs in accordance with AS9102.
• Process and identify non‑conforming product and MRB paperwork for proper disposition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Sampling tables to ANSI/ASQ ZI.4 for established AQL levels.

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector in an in‑process and final inspection role.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience reading/ interpreting engineering drawings or schematics.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience using hand measuring tools (e.g., height gauge, calipers, micrometers).
• Any combination of education and experience may be considered.
• US or international citizenship or permanent residence status required depending on work location.
• Valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
• The general vision acuity test shall be performed by an ophthalmologist, optometrist, or other professionally recognized professional. Requirements include:
  • Near vision – eyes meet Orthotater 8 (95% or Jaeger #2 at 12 inches).
  • Far vision – eyes meet Orthotater 4 (76%) or Snellen chart 20/50.
  • Color perception – 6 of 9 Orthotater plates.

Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction. Mobility: inc‍ucents may be required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Vision: sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe the behavior of others. Environment: typical office conditions, working directly with the Quality management team, the TRIGO team, and external customers.

Physical demands include occasionally standing, walking (approximately 1‑2 miles a day), sitting, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees may occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
