Customer Service & Sales Floor - Village at Totem Lake Rack

Job Description:

As a Nordstrom Rack team member you will continuously move and collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. You will ensure a quick and easy customer experience and keep the store clean and clutter free, often working in different areas such as sales, customer service, stock and fulfillment.

• Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway ready, re‑merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across in‑store, online and mobile platforms, operate the point‑of‑sale system, bag items and handle bulky items.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers, sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customers’ orders following quality, packing and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general support to the store, e.g., set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns and relocate store fixtures.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

• Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds; stock and fulfillment only may lift up to 50 pounds.

Hourly: $22.55 – $23.45
