Requisition Summary
PACCAR’s Kenworth division is known for quality, innovation, and a commitment to advancing trucking technology. The District Sales Manager will play a key role in driving sales, financing, and leasing within the Northeast Region.
- Make customer calls with dealer personnel and provide assistance in closing sales, financing, and leasing.
- Coordinate truck sales programs and implement policies with dealer organizations.
- Establish an effective counseling and advisory role with dealer management regarding performance objectives, financing, marketing development, sales programs and leasing matters.
- Communicate with dealers regarding truck sales activities, inventory practices (planning), wholesale trucks, financing and leasing programs.
- Identify product requirements within the Northeast Region market area.
- Assist in training and developing dealer personnel.
- Travel approximately 65% or more of the time.
- 4‑Year degree required in Marketing, Engineering, or Business Administration; MA/MS degrees strongly preferred.
- 8‑10+ years wholesale/retail Class 7 and 8 heavy‑duty truck or parts sales experience, or related experience in capital or heavy‑equipment industries required.
- Experience in truck financing and leasing practices preferred.
- Strong business acumen, problem‑solving skills, and communications ability required.
- Candidate must be located or willing to relocate to the assigned territory in the Northeast Region; preference for New England or Mid‑Atlantic areas.

Salary range: $114,500 – $179,100 annually. Eligible for an annual incentive bonus with a target of 15% of base pay.
