Job Description
The Business Development Specialist manages the opportunity from sales pursuit to close using deep sales processes and offering expertise. Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and or existing clients to protect and grow the business. Act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally. A professional at this position level within Myria Solutions has the following responsibilities:
- Ability to travel in order to accommodate selective client needs.
- Provides solutions to complex business problems for areas of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
- Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near-term goals for area of responsibility.
- Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
- Decisions have a lasting impact on an area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside areas of responsibility.
Professional skills you should have:
- Leadership, teamwork, and collaboration in a professional setting either military or civilian.
- High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
- Minimum of 2 years selling closing BPO and enterprise deals in the Marketing space.
- Minimum of 2 years Sales Pursuit experience, preferably in the Marketing space.
- Minimum of 2 years Client Relationship and or delivery experience.
- Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management (preferred).
Compensation for this role is currently commission only, ranging from 20%-30% depending on deal size (avg. deal size is around $10k). For this position, we are looking for someone who is dedicated to growing with us, eventually earning a C-Level position and salary with full benefits.
Additionally, you will earn a residual commission for recurring revenue on accounts and relationships you manage. You will earn performance-based bonuses and you will also receive all-expense-paid opportunities for select deals that require you to travel.
Depending on your performance and longevity with Myria Solutions, you will receive the option to be compensated on an annual salary basis, accompanied by full benefits. You will also be offered meaningful equity ownership in the company depending on your talent level and commitment to the company and our initiatives.
