Sales And Marketing Specialist

Talent Hire Recruitment is hiring Outside Sales Representatives for multiple West Coast territories, including California, Washington, Oregon, and Vancouver, WA.

This is a field-based, hunter-style sales role focused on generating new business, building relationships with business owners and decision-makers, closing new accounts, and developing recurring sales.

We’re looking for sales professionals with self-generated prospecting experience, strong sales performance, and a proven ability to win new business.

• $3,000/month recoverable draw for the first 120 days
• Uncapped commission + recurring reorder commissions
• $85K-$130K Year 1 earning potential
• Defined territory and field-based selling
• Approximately 2-4 overnight trips per month

No forklift, battery, or technical industry experience is required. We value proven sales ability, persistence, prospecting skills, and results.

• Manage and grow an assigned sales territory across the West Coast.
• Visit dealer locations and build relationships with owners, principals, and branch managers.
• Generate new business through cold calling, walk-ins, door-to-door, and field prospecting.
• Identify new sales opportunities and develop a consistent pipeline.
• Present products and the dealer partnership opportunity to prospective customers.
• Close initial stocking orders and develop new dealer accounts.
• Train dealer sales representatives on products and sales opportunities.
• Support dealers in selling through inventory and generating repeat orders.
• Build long-term customer relationships and drive recurring reorder business.
• Manage daily sales activity, follow-ups, appointments, and territory coverage.
• Track sales performance and consistently work toward monthly targets.
• Travel within the assigned territory and complete approximately 2-4 overnight trips per month as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information and provide regular updates on territory activity.

• 1-4 years of commission-heavy, self-generated sales experience
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas or targets
• Experience generating new business through cold calling, door-to-door, walk-ins, canvassing, or field prospecting
• Strong new-account acquisition and business development experience
• Comfortable selling directly to business owners, managers, and decision-makers
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a defined sales territory
• Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven, commission-based environment
• Ability to handle rejection and maintain consistent prospecting activity
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel approximately 2-4 nights per month
• Experience in solar, pest control, security/alarms, telecom, equipment rental, industrial distribution, staffing, merchant services, copiers, facility services, packaging, janitorial, or similar outside sales is a plus.
• No forklift, battery, or technical industry experience required; product training will be provided.
