As a Security Specialist in Washington, DC, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing other agencies with innovative services for the printing, publishing, storage, and distribution of digital content.
Responsibilities included:
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot issues, and manage Security Management access and control server.
- Evaluate security systems, access controls, Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), and fire and safety issues to determine the exact nature of the problem; and then resolve or coordinate a resolution.
- Maintain responsibility for physical security and safety concerning technical countermeasures to secure access to agency facilities.
- Prepare written reports of all program issues, recommend fundamental policy changes, and provide input in the development of policies.
- Advise facility security personnel on matters requiring clear explanations of regulations and procedures, as well as assist with risk assessments.
