You’ll diagnose, maintain, and repair Ford diesel trucks and commercial vehicles in a high‑performing service department. Advanced training, certifications, and career advancement opportunities are available.
Job Responsibilities- Accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, powertrains, and related systems on Ford trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs, including mechanical, electrical, and drivability systems.
- Utilize Ford factory‑level diagnostic tools and service software to efficiently resolve issues.
- Complete repair orders with precision, documenting all labor, parts, and services accurately.
- Maintain productivity while delivering high‑quality workmanship and meeting flat‑rate expectations.
- Collaborate closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
- Recommend additional repairs and preventative maintenance to customers when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to dealership safety protocols and manufacturer standards.
Pay Range: $125,000 to $200,000 annually.

- Ford diesel certification or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines, preferably on Ford trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and powertrain systems.
- Proficiency with Ford factory diagnostic tools, service software, and repair procedures.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and complex diesel repairs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume service environment while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians.
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen.
