In this role, you will perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of county vehicles and heavy equipment, including cars, pickups, trucks, tractors, graders, and bulldozers.
Your expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel, gasoline, hydraulic, and electrical systems will ensure the safety and reliability of our equipment, supporting vital county operations.
We value professionals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and collaborative. The ideal candidate will have experience using mechanical and electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools, and will work closely with equipment operators to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred, reflecting our commitment to high standards and operational excellence.
Asotin County offers competitive wages ranging from $26.85 to $27.93 per hour under a collective bargaining agreement.
