The role involves writing product or system development code. It includes participating in and leading design reviews to select technologies. The position also requires reviewing code from other developers and providing feedback. Additionally, the role involves triaging product or system issues and debugging them.
Required Qualifications and SkillsA Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates need at least two years of experience programming in C++, Python, Java, or Go, or one year of experience with an advanced degree. The role also requires two years of experience building developer tools that enhance developer velocity, code quality, and code health. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields, and experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
Experience with data structures and algorithms, and developing accessible technologies are also preferred. Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering is also beneficial.
