The Milestone Transport Service Driver L1 is responsible for safely driving/delivering materials and goods to support the Transport Service Team in the daily execution of service operations to the set standards and ensuring compliance to support excellent service quality and customer engagement. This role is a full time, onsite position in an environment that may consist of a large warehouse, data center and internal transport services.
HowYou Will Make an Impact
- Drive safely to assigned destinations.
- Collect inventory/goods from designated collection points and ensure all client documentation is in order and compliant.
- Secure inventory/goods in the vehicle in an organized manner for safe transport.
- Provide input to the Transport Service Dispatcher to support daily planning for the safest and most efficient route, considering road conditions, traffic, local restrictions, and environment.
- Use GPS navigation apps and area knowledge to deliver inventory/goods to client endpoints in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
- Transport inventory/goods by box truck and cargo van (no commercial driver’s license required) in accordance with all safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections and document them.
- Assist in scheduling regular maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and inform management of any issues.
- Operate vehicle in inclement weather such as snow or ice.
- Consistently deliver inventory/goods in good condition to clients.
- Maintain professional interactions with Milestone and client colleagues and stakeholders.
- Unload inventory/goods at destination and ensure clients sign necessary paperwork to record the successful transfer of goods.
- Apply transport safety best practices, 5S for safety and organization.
- Complete all assigned training and attend operational meetings in support of Transport Service execution.
- Attend duties punctually in a professional, presentable manner.
- Lift boxes up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English.
- Current valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Card physical exam (US only).
- Willingness to be challenged and learn new skills.
- Inventory control skills; manage priorities and workflow.
- Computer, iPad, and iPhone literate.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work in a dynamic environment.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of box truck driving experience.
- Minimum 1 year of material handling in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center is a plus.
- Proficient in Windows, Apple (Mac and iPad) and peripheral devices.
- Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Understanding of all safety requirements and precautions.
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $28.00 per hour and is a Non‑Exempt role.
