A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking a Clinical Affairs Specialist on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The purpose of this job is to support the daily functions of clinic operations and clinic education, and to maintain the D2-D4 curriculum under the Associate Dean for Patient Care & Clinic Education and the Associate Dean for Comprehensive Care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage schedules for student internal rotations.
- Assist with recording final grades for students.
- Oversee the tracking and maintenance of Student Absent Requests.
- Coordinate and facilitate all clinic board exams (CDCA/ADEX, Mock Boards).
- Prepare reports as requested.
- Provide administrative support to the clinical faculty.
- Support the Clinic Director in formulating, regulating, and enforcing ASDOH policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update compliance and training documents (e.g., clinic manual, faculty onboarding documents).
- Coordinate CPR classes for faculty, staff, and students.
- Check all curriculum and portal calendars to avoid potential conflicts in the clinic.
- Schedule and organize meetings, draft correspondence, edit documents, and take meeting minutes.
- Facilitate ASDOH's presence at monthly MCC meetings and document follow‑ups.
- Back up other Clinical Education Specialists and Clinical Administrative Support staff.
- Assist in developing, administering, and evaluating projects as assigned.
- Conduct research as appropriate to projects or initiatives.
- Assist with coordination of the D2 Clinic Orientation regarding clinic operations and internal rotations.
- Assist in the planning, organizing, and implementation of ASDOH responsibilities pertaining to CDCA.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

RequirementsEducation & Experience
- College degree, or 2‑year college degree.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and apply project‑management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google products (Forms, Sheets, etc.).
- Strong writing skills and ability to navigate social networking and internet‑based education tools.
- Independent problem‑solving and conflict deescalation skills.
- Team player who is self‑directed, takes initiative, maintains a professional demeanor, and adapts calmly to change.
- Motivated, multitasking, independent thinker, detail oriented, and tolerant of change.
- Willingness to be flexible with work assignments and accept duties from multiple managers; self‑directed.
