Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers and schedule service appointments.
  • Make outbound calls to customers
  • Verify customer and vehicle information and service needs
  • Display thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services
  • Contact internet customers regarding their service inquiries or scheduling requests
  • Complete call sheets to turn in to the Service Manager to provide feedback on the calls made
  • Communicate with all service advisors and assist in making sure that customers are informed about the status of their vehicle. Know every appointment of the day to make sure that the service advisor/self knows the status of the vehicle
  • Check to see if any special order parts have arrived on a daily basis and call the customer. Ensure that special order parts are handled within 15 days (customer contacted and service appointment scheduled for completion within 15 days)
  • Manage the pick-up and delivery process of customer vehicles by scheduling and communicating with drivers
  • Scanning
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

  • Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Background check and MVR
  • Fun, enthusiastic, kind, patient, and outgoing
  • Must be 18 or over in order to be covered by our Automobile Insurance.
  • 1-2 years of previous call center or customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Dealership experience preferred, but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Communication skills:
    Ability to collaborate, cooperate, interpret, and communicate information that is not always straightforward.
  • Computer:
    Ability to efficiently use Google and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Intermediate Excel), manage files, navigate networks, the web, and Windows.
  • Decision-making:
    Knowledge of and ability to identify and choose alternatives based on values and preferences, and to solve problems to arrive at a conclusion and decision.
  • Diversity:
    Treats all customers and employees with respect and without bias.
  • Office Equipment: A wide array of office equipment, such as copy machines, computers, etc.
  • Teamwork:
    Ability to work effectively in a collaborative/team setting.

    Skills:

    Ability to respond to callers promptly using a positive and professional demeanor and tone, and refer callers to the appropriate resource.
  • Must speak fluent English. Spanish and French fluency is optional but beneficial
  • Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization, and effective computer skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and able to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to understand and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to learn and explain basic repair information.
