As a Nurse Practitioner, you will carry out physical and psychological exams, provide basic healthcare treatments, write prescriptions, and order medical/psychological tests. Additionally, you will review patient conditions, determine treatment plans, and facilitate Medication Services within Substance Use Disorder programs. - Conduct physical or psychological exams and record patient histories.
- Provide basic healthcare treatments and write prescriptions.
- Review patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Facilitate Medication Services within Substance Use Disorder programs.
- Oversee team care coordination activities, including communication with outside providers.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Missouri.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by the State of Missouri.
- Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Missouri
- Federal DEA license
- Previous experience in a community health center or similar environment preferred.
- Current Missouri RN license in good standing.
- Federal DEA license required.
- Willingness to explore/obtain DATA 2000 Waiver.
