Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Kirksville, MO

Cross Med Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a 13‑week Emergency Department assignment in Kirksville, Missouri. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour overnight shifts. Gross weekly pay is $1,911.60 – $2,008.80 with additional benefits and a tax‑free stipend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and administer medications in the Emergency Department.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health team members to coordinate care.
  • Monitor patients’ responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Participate in on‑call duties with a 30‑minute response time when required.
  • Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience preferred in the Emergency Department.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license in Missouri and required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) based on facility needs.
  • Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, pull, bend, and pull.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with physicians and other health team members.
  • Capable of managing frequent interactions with the public and customers under pressure, working independently or with occasional supervision.
