The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.

You will be reporting to Darren Bisby, Team Manager Roads and Grounds Operations.

Your working pattern is Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.

The purpose of this role is to undertake as part of a team, the maintenance of public lighting installations and associated infrastructure.

We are looking to appoint a full time Public Lighting Operative to to undertake as part of a team the installation and maintenance of street lighting columns, control gear and other street furniture. This will include the setting out of work in relation to the construction of public lighting installations.

This post involves a contractual requirement to:

• participate in a standby rota covering out of hours,  for Standby Information.

This post requires a Level 1 Disclosure check.
