Gifted - Certified Teacher

The Kirkwood School District is hiring a Gifted - Certified Teacher for the 26/27 school year to support Tillman Elementary School.

We would like the Gifted Teacher to have the following skills:

* Comfort with student agency

* Skill in asking open-ended, high-level questions

* High-level understanding around the social-emotional and executive function needs of gifted individuals

* Commitment to equity and talent development

* Deep appreciation for creativity, play, and divergent thinking

* Experience and/or skills with coaching classroom teachers to support gifted students

* Organizational and time management skills

* Skills with communication and collaboration

This is a full-time certified teaching position, with benefits, including:

Salary is based on the Certified Salary Schedule, dependent on relevant education & experience.
