Job Details:
We are currently seeking a New Product Development Sr. Conjugation Scientist to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of novel conjugation technologies in the diagnostic manufacturing industry. As a Sr. Conjugation Scientist, you will be at the forefront of our new product development, using your technical expertise to drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge conjugation processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and optimization of new conjugation technologies with a focus on monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.
2. Utilize your knowledge of stoichiometry and reaction kinetics to improve existing processes and develop innovative solutions for complex conjugation challenges.
3. Work cross-functionally with teams such as Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Regulatory to ensure successful product development and launch.
4. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the post-conjugation process, including purification, characterization, and stability studies.
5. Analyze process data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and product yield.
6. Prepare and review technical documents, including process development reports, manufacturing instructions, and regulatory filings.
7. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the product development process.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on conjugation science, process development, and optimization.
3. Proven experience with monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, stoichiometry, and reaction kinetics.
4. Strong understanding of the principles of protein conjugation, including cross-linking, biotinylation, and labeling.
5. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead complex projects to successful completion.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
8. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for new product development in the manufacturing industry.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
