Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, resident-centered nursing care while supervising clinical staff and collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. This role is responsible for assessing residents, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans
- Assess residents and promptly identify changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Provide resident and family education
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and infection control standards
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and resident-focused environment
- Respond quickly and effectively to resident needs and emergencies
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or post-acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
