Senior Supervisor, Accounting Services

Conduent State & Local Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Supervisor, Accounting Services to lead a team supporting mission-critical government programs. This role oversees daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction processing for transportation, healthcare, and public assistance clients. The supervisor ensures accuracy, compliance, and service-level attainment while driving process improvements using data and metrics. Working in a performance-driven, collaborative environment, this position partners with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and implement best practices that enhance efficiency, controls, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting services operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and government requirements
• Supervise, coach, and schedule accounting support staff to meet service-level and quality targets
• Review and approve reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction processing for state and local programs
• Monitor key performance metrics, identify process gaps, and implement continuous improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional and client teams to resolve complex accounting and billing issues
• Prepare and present operational and financial reports to management and stakeholders
• Support audits, controls testing, and documentation for compliance and risk mitigation
• Assist with system enhancements, procedure updates, and training to standardize best practices
