Our client is seeking a proactive accounting professional to join their growing finance team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Staff or Senior Accountant to take ownership of key accounting functions, contribute to financial reporting, and support business operations.
This position is onsite in Kissimmee, FL (with an option to go hybrid) and contract for a minimum of 3 months (may extend).
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced in managing month-end processes while partnering with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, prepaids, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial analysis.
- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support cash flow management and reporting initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting department.
- Collaborate with management on special projects and strategic financial initiatives.
- 3+ years offull cycle accounting experience preferably within a community association or property management environment.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience with accrual accounting and balance sheet management.
- Advanced Excel skills and prior experience with Vantaca software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in a multi-entity or growth-oriented environment.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.50 per hour
