Job Overview
The Community Service Clerk is responsible for performing clerical duties, greeting and assisting residents and providing front desk coverage when needed. The department ensures compliance with the Restrictions and Criteria of the Poinciana Community Covenants and provides support to the Design and Control Board team, Fines Committee team and in Master Board meetings.
Your Responsibilities- Maintain a neat working area and perform reception duties such as answering and routing telephone calls.
- Accurately and clearly answer and route telephone calls and walk‑in inquiries.
- Typing as required (35 wpm) with good spelling and vocabulary skills.
- Keep clear, accurate records on all builder's and/or resident's requests and process them.
- Retrieve information from files.
- Send out violation letters.
- Provide supporting documentation for Committees if needed.
- Prepare and record all building requests for the Design Control Board.
- File documents and records as necessary.
- Be computer & software literate.
- Maintain all DCB approvals/disapprovals properly filed in the account's record file.
- Reproduce pertinent literature.
- Accept payments for maps, RV lot, copies and issue receipts as warranted.
- Prepare and mail letters to residents.
- Receive and process accurate records on all builder's and/or resident's requests.
- Prepare and maintain reports of all Design Control Criteria and Subdivision Declaration of Restrictions Violations.
- Perform such additional duties and responsibilities as may be required by the needs of the Community Service Department and the Company.
- High School or G.E.D. equivalency diploma.
- A working knowledge of blueprints is preferred.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills are a must.
- Some radio communications knowledge.
- Independent work ability is a must.
- Typing (35 wpm), spelling, vocabulary and computer skills are a must.
- Ability to operate office machines.
- Radio communication knowledge accurately and clearly.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, mass email, database management, etc.).
- Excellent working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment and decision making.
- Exercise all duties and tasks in a cheerful and friendly manner, being a team player with office staff and residents to achieve all events successfully.
- Ability to work independently and be self‑driven.
- Standing, sitting, walking.
- Able to sit for hours at a desk and work on computer.
- Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours per week. - Property specific perks (free access to gym, swimming pools).

Compensation$16.00 hourly.
