Lil Explorers Kissimmee Inc is seeking a reliable and responsible Opening Preschool Teacher who will assist with opening the center and managing morning front desk operations before transitioning into a Preschool 3 classroom.

• Open the center according to the scheduled time.
• Monitor and manage the front entrance.
• Greet parents and students warmly.
• Ensure proper sign-in procedures are followed.
• Verify staff coverage and classroom ratios.
• Communicate any morning concerns to the administration.

• Ensure the safety and supervision of all children.
• Maintain DCF compliance and ELC CLASS standards.
• Plan and implement weekly lesson plans.
• Maintain student portfolios.
• Provide daily parent communication.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and classroom management strategies.

• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Complete required DCF training hours.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and strong communication skills.

• DCF 45 hours completed (or in progress).
• Prior preschool classroom experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
