Substitute‑Law Enforcement Academy Instructor
Teach efficiently and effectively, following all Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission regulations for basic recruit, advanced, and specialized training. Use of CJSTC training objectives, textbooks, and training forms is required while following the prescribed courses of study, and employing approved methods of instruction.
Required Qualifications , Skills and Experience- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Applicants with college degrees and/or pursuing a college degree in the field of education are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of service as a law enforcement officer.
- Must hold a Florida Vocational Certificate.
- Completion of CJSTC Florida General Instructor Techniques course.
- Must hold CJSTC Instructor Certification from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
