At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Blue Origin seeks highly talented technicians to launch the New Glenn rocket at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. We are looking for teammates to help refurbish flown rockets, stack rockets and payloads, maintain and operate launch infrastructure, and ultimately participate in launching one of the largest rockets in the world. Successful candidates will bring relevant skills, experiences and certifications from aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, and related fields.
We are looking for people who are fast and eager learners, extremely hard workers, problem solvers, and instinctive team players.
This is a pooling requisition for current and anticipated openings across multiple Launch Ops teams, shifts, and levels. Candidates will be matched to the right roles as needs are identified.

Launch Operations sits at the heart of Blue Origin’s launch and spaceflight systems, turning design intent into hard data, clean checkouts, and flight confidence. Our Launch Technicians are the hands‑on experts who bring vehicles, ground systems, and test stands to life – from first power‑on and subsystem checkout to full‑stack vehicle and pad‑level tests that clear the way for launch day.
You won’t just follow procedures; you’ll execute them with precision and help make them better. You’ll build up and configure hardware, connect and verify avionics and electrical systems, hook up fluid lines and ground support equipment, and run test and checkout sequences that prove systems are ready to fly. Experience with tools and disciplines such as mechanical assembly, electrical wiring and terminations, fluid systems (cryogenic, pneumatic, hydraulic), instrumentation, and basic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, pressure/flow measurement, etc.)
will let you quickly contribute on the floor and at the pad.
Safety and mission assurance are our north star, and the stakes are real. You’ll follow and reinforce rigorous safety‑by‑design and test practices – including PPE, lockout/tagout, hazardous energy and fluid procedures – while working on systems that must work the first time, every time. Launch Technicians who thrive here combine strong hands‑on skills with disciplined, procedure‑driven execution and the pride that comes with seeing the hardware they built and checked out roll to the pad, count down, and fly to space.
Launch & Mission Operations Technicians provide hands‑on, frontline support at the sharp end of the mission – where hardware, people, and procedures come together to put vehicles and payloads into space. Depending on your background, you may focus on operations such as:
- Launch Vehicle & Ground Operations – Performing vehicle integration, pad or test stand operations,…
