Community Mortgage Bank Sales Consultant – SAFE

• Sit within assigned bank branches and originate mortgage loans
• Collaborate with branch leadership and participate in branch huddles
• Mentor and coach employees to increase knowledge of mortgage products and processes
• Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers regarding mortgage loan products and complete associated tracking activities
• Understand customer needs and provide high-quality customer service
• Inform prospective and existing customers about Wells Fargo Home Mortgage programs
• Analyze and offer mortgage loan products based on client needs
• Process mortgage loan applications and review rates and terms within guidelines
• Maintain client satisfaction and quality through timely, proactive communication
• Complete Wells Fargo training to increase knowledge of products, policies, procedures, and underwriting requirements
• Adhere to policies, underwriting, compliance requirements, and loan procedures
• Collaborate with fulfillment partners throughout the origination process
• Monitor mortgage industry trends and developments in the assigned market
• Develop and maintain visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace

• 2+ years of sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• 2+ years of mortgage retail sales experience desired
• Expertise in general lending products and mortgage industry
• Experience with retail residential mortgage and purchase fundings
• Relationships with realtor organizations and affordable lending nonprofits
• Experience with community loan products, LMI mortgage solutions, lender-paid assistance, and third-party assistance programs
• FHA/VA and conventional loan experience preferred
• Knowledge of sales prospecting and generating referrals
• Experience educating clients on mortgage purchase programs
• Experience developing professional relationships
• Customer service experience
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to provide leadership through coaching, training, and mentoring
• Spanish/English bilingual proficiency preferred
• Willingness to travel
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed or scheduled
• Must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Loan Originator qualification requirements
• Must meet financial responsibility, character, financial fitness, and criminal background standards
• Must meet ongoing regulatory requirements and additional screening if necessary
• SAFE registration required at the time of employment;
  Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after employment begins

Demonstrates expertise in mortgage loan origination, customer service, and compliance with lending regulations. Proficient in developing client relationships and providing tailored mortgage solutions while adhering to industry standards.
