You teach cosmetology theory and supervise students on the salon floor across hair, skin, and nail services, preparing them for Florida licensure and for work in a salon.

• Deliver theory instruction following the approved program curriculum
• Supervise students performing services on clients on the salon floor
• Demonstrate cutting, colour, chemical services, styling, and sanitation technique
• Evaluate practical work and keep accurate records of hours, attendance, and progress
• Prepare students for the Florida state board examination
• Enforce sanitation, safety, and professional conduct standards
• Contact students who miss class to understand why and help them get back on track

• Active Florida cosmetology license in good standing — and any instructor credential Florida requires to teach in a licensed school
• [Number] years of professional salon experience
• Patience and the ability to explain technique to students at very different skill levels
• Dependable attendance and professional presentation

• Experience across multiple disciplines (hair, skin, nails) to support our Full Specialist program
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation: $23.00–$25.00/hr.
