Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide skilled therapy treatment visits to patients in their homes throughout the Kissimmee, FL
area. This role focuses on treatment visits performed under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
, with compensation structured per visit or hourly depending on the case and service provided
.
This position is ideal for OTAs who are confident working independently in the field, understand home‑health workflows, and value accurate, timely clinical documentation.

- Have a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience
- Have experience in home health or community‑based therapy
- Are comfortable carrying out treatment plans established by an OT

One‑on‑One Patient Care
Deliver focused, individualized therapy in patient homes without the pace of outpatient or facility‑based settings.

Flexible Scheduling
- Per diem assignments
- Visit schedules coordinated based on OTA availability and patient needs
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment visits as outlined in the Plan of Care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional tasks
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve safety, independence, and daily function
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising OT
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and safety strategies
- Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team
- Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation
OTA documentation is used to:
- Track patient progress toward therapy goals
- Support OT oversight and clinical decision‑making
- Meet payer and regulatory documentation requirements
Timely, detailed visit notes are essential.
Requirements- License: Active Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience
