Senior Public Engagement Manager

Onward Search is partnering with a leading utility company to find a talented Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager
. This on-site opportunity offers a vital role in managing strategic outreach for customer delivery projects in a designated area. Ideal candidates will bring experience in stakeholder communication, project coordination, and community engagement, supporting projects such as substation optimization and undergrounding initiatives.

• Developing and executing a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy to facilitate project success.
• Drafting and coordinating external communications with property owners and community members, including managing inquiries and tracking responses.
• Keeping internal teams informed about ongoing projects to ensure smooth execution and collaboration.
• Participating in project meetings, including field reviews, pre-construction discussions, and customer interactions.
• Collaborating with government and community relations teams to align engagement approaches and organize public information sessions.

• Bachelor's degree required; or a high school diploma/GED with at least seven years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of five years in stakeholder or community engagement, preferably within the utility industry.
• Valid driver’s license and experience in handling external presentations and communication.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management principles.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
