Laundry Attendant

SUMMARY:

Takes care of all laundry functions to including folding, recycling,preparing linen bins,delivers/ pick-up linen containers and assembles amenities. Organizes linen closets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Folds and sorts all linens.

Maintains inventory and keeps laundry stands organized.

Answers laundry phone.

Experience:

No prior experience or training.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add and subtract.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
