Qualifications & Skills:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and procedural sedation skills
• Familiarity with cath lab imaging equipment and sterile technique
• Effective communicator and collaborative team member

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and implantable device procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, intervening in emergencies
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and post-care instructions
