This is not your average OR nursing role. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room RN at a 404-bed Level II Trauma Center in the heart of Central Florida — minutes from Orlando, St. Cloud, Celebration, and Poinciana — you will be part of an elite surgical team performing some of the most complex and life-saving cardiovascular procedures in the region.

What You'll Do
As a CVOR RN you will provide specialized perioperative nursing care for open heart and cardiovascular surgical patients, scrub and circulate for complex cardiovascular procedures including open heart surgeries, assist the surgical team throughout all phases of the perioperative experience, monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition with precision and urgency, maintain a sterile surgical environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and the interdisciplinary cardiovascular team, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice within the cardiovascular OR.
Call Requirements
- On call:
Once per week and one weekend per month - Additional call may be required based on departmental needs

What You'll Need
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR RN experience in an acute care setting — required
- Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license — required
- Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation
- BSN — preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA Healthcare Provider) — required
- CNOR certification — preferred
