Licensed Optician

We are looking for a Licensed Optician to provide customer-facing service in our store, including eyewear consultation, fitting, finishing, and pickup. The role supports optometrists and ensures high-quality standards.
Essential FunctionsCreate an Exceptional Customer Experience
- Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
- Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
- Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
Support Clinical & In Store Flow
- Assist with patient flow and pre‑exam screenings to support optometrists.
- Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
- Serve as a calm, knowledgeable presence throughout the customer journey.
Own Finish & Quality Excellence
- Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections, and quality checks.
- Ensure all eyewear meets Eyeglass World standards for fit, function, and presentation.
- Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand‑aligned handoff.
Operate with Precision & Care
- Support order entry, tracking, and timely completion.
- Maintain organized, clean, and efficient finish and retail areas.
- Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively.
Bring the Brand to Life
- Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction.
- Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store.
- Partner with the store team to deliver a consistent and elevated experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required)
- Hold an active dispensing license as required by the state.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills (Required).
- Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required).
- Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required).
- Support store team in shared goals (Required).
