Tower Crane Operator

Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Tower Crane Operator. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.

(This description may not include all duties required of this position)

* Operate tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions on a commercial construction project

* Interpret and follow all signals

* Position requires completing daily and weekly inspection and maintenance reports

* Operates Tower Crane to perform hoisting operations as required by job

* Must know instrument and control panels

* Position requires working in all types of weather

* Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

* 5 years Commercial Construction Tower Crane Operator experience preferred

* Must have current and valid NCCCO certification

* Familiar with tools

* Familiar with tools and processes associated with construction site

* Knowledge of regulations and safety requirements and policies applicable to crane operators

* Ability to follow instructions

* Must fluently speak and write English

* Ability to read load charts
