Meridian Mechanical Services, LLC. is currently looking to fill a position within our Service team. Meridian currently manages all types of Commercial HVAC/R, Plumbing, Gas, and Pipe service work. We are seeking a team member who is well‑versed in HVAC mechanics and who wants a family-oriented career in a growing, professional company.
Responsibilities- Conduct HVAC/R jobs promptly and efficiently as a member of the Meridian Mechanical team.
- Perform routine HVAC/R service activities without direct oversight or on‑site assistance.
- Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work under time constraints, non‑standard schedules, weather, and customers’ needs.
- Conduct non‑service work in support of the construction team as assigned.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Field Supervisor or Operations Team.
- Travel and/or overnight stays may be requested by the Field Supervisor or Operations Team.
- Participate in a weekly on‑call rotation.
- Use a tablet or smartphone daily and possess basic smart device knowledge.
- Maintain safe driving activities at all times.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the Sheet metal trade.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
- Effective communication and personable skills.
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Diligence and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements.

The hours are 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available based on project demands.
Education and Experience Requirements- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in the Service HVAC/R trade (required).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle background screening.
- Must bring own hand tools.
