SET UP LABORER at WELLS Kissimmee, FL

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Set-up Laborer prepares and installs assorted materials in production molds for pre-pour quality inspection in anticipation of pouring concrete.

• Must possess basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure with absolute accuracy.
• Should be capable of acquiring skills at reading shop tickets and interpreting measurements and applications of specific hardware.
• Physical abilities to climb, stoop, bend, and work in unusual positions at varying heights above floor level for extended periods.
• Physical abilities to tolerate work in extreme environments (heat and cold), often outside.
• Requires lifting ability at or above 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Should have skills/ability to learn to operate an overhead gantry crane.
• Ability to work 10‑to‑13‑hour days if schedule requires.
• Ability to work flexible hours, according to schedule.
• Must be willing to be flexible in work assignments, able to work in different departments as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Prior experience in construction/building trades helpful but not required.

• Physically able to lift to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.
• Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.

• Moderate to elevated risk of exposure to unusual elements.

• Moderate to high exposure to production environment.
