Do you know how to earn trust in the places where Veterans live, gather, and seek support? The Transition House, Inc. is seeking a relationship-builder who can take our Veteran Connection and Suicide Prevention Program beyond office walls and into the communities where timely outreach matters most.
As the Veteran Community Outreach and Reentry Specialist, you will find and engage Veterans who may otherwise be missed, strengthen referral relationships across Orange and Osceola Counties, and connect eligible Veterans with the SSG Fox team. Justice-involved Veterans are an important focus, but this is not solely a reentry role. You will also reach Veterans who are homeless or unstably housed, disconnected from VA care, isolated, unemployed, or facing behavioral health, substance-use, financial, family, or housing stress.
Veterans and candidates with direct experience serving Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
If you are comfortable meeting people where they are, following up when trust takes time, and turning community relationships into real access to care and support, we would like to meet you.
