Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with medical or dental offices, bookkeeping, and multi-line phone systems is highly desirable.
Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office software
Maintain organized filing systems both digitally and physically
Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence
Support administrative tasks including bookkeeping, invoicing, and basic Quick Books entry
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries courteously and efficiently
Ensure the front desk area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Qualifications Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles, preferably in medical or dental settings
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry
Familiarity with Quick Books or bookkeeping software is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading
Exceptional customer service skills with skilled phone etiquette
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Previous experience in front desk operations or administrative support is preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain filing systems and manage schedules effectively
Prior experience in medical or dental office environments is advantageous but not required
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
