Make a difference in the Waterloo Region by becoming a Growth Information Specialist. This full-time role entails critical research and analysis in a hybrid work setting.
In this dynamic position within the Regional Growth and Analytical Services department, you will drive essential forecasts and research to inform population, housing, and employment planning. You will lead collaboration among various stakeholders and present your findings to senior leadership for robust decision-making. Your insights will be fundamental for effective regional service delivery and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on regional population and housing trends
• Create forecasts that guide development and planning
• Collaborate with municipalities and project management
• Analyze policy initiatives and their regional impact
• Prepare data-driven reports and presentations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
• 5 years of related experience preferred
• Proficient in data analysis and statistical modeling
• Familiarity with Canadian planning legislation
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
