Economic Development Officer Whitefish River

Enhance entrepreneurial opportunities as the Economic Development Officer for Whitefish River First Nation. This full-time, on-site role focuses on business support and economic growth in the community.

The Economic Development Officer (EDO) will implement long-term strategies aligning with the Economic Development Strategic Action Plan. This role is vital in creating training opportunities, supporting WRFN entrepreneurs, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. You will research economic trends and promote investment in the region to bolster community development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the long-term economic strategy

• Support job opportunities and training initiatives

• Build relationships with government and private sector partners

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a related field

• Experience in economic or business development
