Community Advisor

Position: Community Advisor at Campus Living Centres
Become a vital resource and mentor as a Community Advisor at Campus Living Centres. This role immerses you in community development while supporting student transitions into college life.

In this pivotal role, the Community Advisor will embody leadership and foster an environment of respect and safety in residence. You'll facilitate social and educational programming, support Residence Life staff and Council, and create a welcoming atmosphere for students. The position also prepares you for a professional career in Residence Life while working 40-44 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement monthly programming for resident needs

• Assist in training and developing Residence Life staff

• Facilitate student move-in and orientation processes

• Maintain a visible and approachable presence during shifts

• Conduct violation meetings and handle incident reports

Requirements:

• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills

• Previous leadership experience preferred
• ‘Standard First Aid’ & CPR Level “C” certification

• Valid Criminal Record Check is mandatory

• Positive contributor to the residence community
