Responsibilities

· Regulatory Compliance:
Assist with meeting all regulatory reporting needs.
· Regular Reporting & Analysis:
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
· IBNR Determination:
Calculate IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) reserves each quarter.
· Performance Analysis:
Conduct and review analyses of gains and losses.
· Financial Forecasting:
Provide actuarial liability and investment income forecasts for budgeting.
· Experience & Profitability Studies:
Perform and review studies on past experience and profitability.
· Stakeholder Communication:
Clearly communicate findings, assumptions, and recommendations to relevant parties on time.
· Tool Optimization:
Become proficient with actuarial tools, suggest improvements, and implement approved changes.
· Team Leadership:
Grow leadership skills by reviewing peers' work, coaching teammates, and helping with team planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of proven experience
· ACAS or near ACAS
· Skills in some of them (SQL, SAS, VBA, Python & R)
