Lead the Finance and Legal functions at Sky Watch in Kitchener. As Head of Finance, drive automation and efficiency while leveraging AI technologies for a progressive financial strategy.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee accounting, tax compliance, FP&A, and legal operations. You'll partner closely with the CEO and executive team, utilizing your analytical skills to simplify complex financial data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting operations, ensuring audit-ready books
• Close monthly accounts by the 15th, without exception
• Prepare and deliver shareholder update packages
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes annually
• Identify and eliminate repetitive finance tasks through AI
Requirements:
• 5+ years in progressive Finance roles in tech
• Familiarity with Xero or equivalent cloud accounting
• Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools
• Strong legal operations management skills
• Excellent communication for non-technical audiences
