Position OverviewThe KYC Analyst provides high-quality administrative and analytical support to the BDC Financing team, managing the Know Your Client (KYC) section of loan applications. Responsibilities include reviewing customer files, obtaining required KYC documents, ensuring completeness of KYC forms, analyzing information, raising flags to the Business Development Lead (BDL), and collaborating closely with the BDL and Underwriter.
Responsibilities- Lead the KYC process from start to finish in collaboration with internal partners, ensuring timely and complete documentation.
- Effectively manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Identify and analyze non‑compliant issues.
- Provide client‑centric service to entrepreneurs, building trusting relationships.
- Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to existing and potential customers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the BDL and Underwriter to meet all KYC requirements and submit error‑free documents.
- Stay current on policy changes, procedures, and trends related to KYC that may impact BDC.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when interacting with entrepreneurs and colleagues.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bilingualism (English and French) is mandatory in Québec only.
- The successful candidate will be required to work on‑site at our office a minimum of three days per week.
