Reporting to the VP of Finance & Operations, you will guide the finance team through operational management and performance enhancement. This role requires expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with CRA regulations. Collaborate closely across departments to ensure financial stewardship and strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee finance operations and departmental performance
• Lead cross-functional business planning and quarterly forecasting
• Monitor and report on organizational financial performance
• Champion continuous improvement in financial processes
• Provide financial oversight for capital campaigns and funding utilization
Requirements:
• CPA designation and a relevant post-secondary degree
• Minimum seven years in financial management
• Proven track record in budgeting and performance reporting
• Experience in not-for-profit sectors is an asset
• Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards
