Agriculture Financial Advisor and Growth Partner

The Bigger Picture:

We're looking for a team player who thrives on developing relationships and providing creative solutions to come on board as our Business Advisor, Agriculture at our Humboldt location. In this role, you will be proactively building your portfolio and providing needs-based holistic financial advice to our agriculture members.

• Providing holistic financial advice to our agriculture members
• Actively growing and managing a portfolio by identifying opportunities and taking action to expand member relationships
• Keeping up-to-date on industry trends to have proactive advice-based conversations fueled by a passion to improve the financial well‑being of our business members
• Building and marketing your personal brand within the local community to develop and sustain a strong, self-generated book of business
• Ensuring a healthy balance between opportunity and risk and between growth and profitability for Conexus

• A self-starter with knowledge of financial statements and assessing risk
• A natural people-person who thrives on developing relationships within the agricultural community
• A collaborator who supports individuals, teams, projects and initiatives within our organization to help us grow
• An ace at details, who's highly accountable and delivers on expectations

• 3+ years of financial advisory experience
• Thorough understanding of financial statements and assessing risk
• Strong credit underwriting ability
• Proven experience in business development, including identifying, pursuing, and converting growth opportunities
• Post-secondary education in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance is an asset
