Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-driven Payroll Administrator to manage full-cycle biweekly payroll for a large, multi-province employee group for our client in Waterloo, ON. This role requires you to have strong payroll processing experience, excellent accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00/hour (based on experience)
- Location: Waterloo, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 3 months contract with possibility to be extend

- Import, balance, and transmit biweekly payroll for up to 1,000 employees across multiple provinces.
- Calculate overtime and statutory holiday pay in accordance with provincial labor legislation.
- Review and post weekly employee timesheets for both salaried and hourly staff.
- Verify and validate HRIS integration files before processing payroll.
- Process all employee lifecycle events, including new hires, terminations, status changes, and leaves.
- Manage updates related to compensation changes, RRSP/TFSA selections, and employee banking information.
- Prepare, review, and submit Records of Employment (ROEs) accurately and on time.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, leadership, and internal partners.
- Diploma in Business Administration or completion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation (asset).
- Minimum 2+ years of payroll experience-required.
- Proven experience processing biweekly payroll for 500+ employees (salaried and hourly)-required.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
