As the Automotive Facilities Manager, you'll guide a team of 25–30 focused tradespeople in the automotive sector. Your responsibilities will include implementing preventive maintenance strategies, managing facility utilities and contractors, and troubleshooting complex automation systems. This role requires effective leadership in a diverse environment to significantly improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and coach skilled tradespeople to optimize performance
• Implement preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Manage utilities, facility operations, and contractor work
• Troubleshoot PLCs, CNC machines, and automation systems
• Foster continuous improvement through root-cause analysis
Requirements:
• Over 5 years in maintenance management
• Technical expertise as Millwright, Electrician, or similar
• Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation
• Proven leadership in varied work settings
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
