About the role

DistillerSR is seeking a VP, Solution Delivery to lead and scale the organization responsible for delivering services to our SaaS platform customers in the life sciences market. In this P&L role the successful candidate will own customer-facing service offerings, including customer onboarding, implementation, managed services, support, training, and custom development/integration work, with the mandate of deepening our footprint inside enterprise and mid-market accounts.

This newly established position will ensure scalable delivery of solutions and services that meet or exceed client expectations and drive business growth.

Duties & Responsibilities P&L Ownership
  • Own the P&L for Solution Delivery offerings
  • Manage a mix of fixed-fee and time-and-materials engagements, improving margin, forecasting accuracy, and utilization over time
  • Partner with Finance to build the operating rhythm (pricing, staffing models, revenue recognition) needed to run delivery as a business
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to effective solution delivery
Leadership
  • Lead and develop the teams delivering to customers:
    Implementation/Onboarding Project Managers, Solution Architects/Engineers, Managed Services/Support Delivery, Training Specialists and Customer Support
  • Manage the organizational structure, hiring plan, and career paths needed to scale the function well beyond its current size
  • Cross-Functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product Engineering teams to ensure a unified approach to client engagement and service delivery
  • Maintain a culture of accountability, customer obsession, and operational excellence
Customer & Sales Partnership
  • Act as a senior technical and strategic partner to Sales in enterprise deal cycles, bringing delivery credibility and domain expertise to help close and expand relationships
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts (deeper and broader adoption across teams and use cases) and hand off qualified opportunities to Sales
  • Serve as an executive point of escalation and relationship owner for DistillerSR's large accounts
  • 10 years of experience in services/delivery leadership, including direct experience owning a services P&L
  • Experience in a life sciences services business (e.g., a CRO or similar regulated life sciences services organization).
  • Formal education in a directly related field of study such as Business, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • A track record of scaling a service delivery organization
  • Experience delivering to both enterprise and mid-market customers
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • Experience operating across global/multi-region markets
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor in sales cycles
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience with regulatory, evidence-based, or scientific-content workflows (medical device/pharma regulatory submissions, PV, systematic review, or similar)
  • Enterprise SaaS/software services background in addition to life sciences services experience
Compensation

Salary Range: $160,928 to $185,067
