As an Operations Manager, your focus will be on ensuring smooth and effective operations within the truck shop. You will lead a team of mechanics and support staff, coordinating maintenance tasks and overseeing safety guidelines.
Your role will involve significant decision-making and direct communication with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise everyday shop operations and team dynamics
• Ensure employee training meets required competencies
• Maintain shop compliance with safety standards
• Plan and manage maintenance schedules effectively
• Address employee and regulatory inquiries promptly
Requirements:
• Active College of Trades membership required
• Minimum of 8 years in heavy truck maintenance
• Proven supervisory and organizational skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge and judgement
• Superior communication abilities
