Account Manager - Senior
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Senior Account Manager to join our Sales team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex customer requirements while supporting business growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing customer relationships, driving new business opportunities, and supporting technical and commercial aspects of the sales process.
Main Responsibilities- Review and evaluate customer quote requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Engage directly with end-use customers to qualify and discuss new quote opportunities
- Collaborate with the NEF quoting and sourcing teams to support pricing and supply strategies
- Partner with Business Development Managers and Sales Managers to develop and execute sales strategies
- Lead customer discussions related to product design, applications, and new program opportunities
- Track new business awards from initial quotation through to production (SOP), including first builds
- Manage quote mark-ups and analyze sales forecasting data to support business decisions
- Review customer contracts and lead part kick-off activities through the APQP process
- Maintain strong customer relationships and act as a key point of contact for account-related matters
- Perform other related duties as required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot and support technical design challenges
- Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong overall computer and systems skills
- Blueprint reading (considered an asset)
- Automotive fastener experience (considered an asset)
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
- 3–5 years of experience in a sales or account management role
- Proven experience managing customer accounts and supporting territory growth
- Experience with in the automotive industry preferred
- Post‑secondary education in Business, Engineering, or a related field considered an asset
- Fluent in Spanish considered an asset
